Register a New Person

Purpose:


To enable a new person access the application to perform their role and responsibility.


Process:


1. Open People section on the left panel menu



2. Click on Add new button - top right

View or add new people is easy to do, if you have the privilege in your policy group to add new people.




3. Add details about the new person


NOTE: The new person needs to have a valid email address to utilise the application.



4. Define People policy group


This is their position in relation to their purpose and expectation role being used within the application. This policy group determines the persons access to specific areas within the application.


A registration link will be sent to the new persons email address from the application

    – This is to verify the person

    – Also to add their password for future access

    – The system does not present the password in the details list


Selecting the department defaults your screens to this department when you open them.

    – It does not limit you to viewing other department jobs or findings 



5. Set Model Access - Mobile application purposes only


If the person is not going to use a mobile application then this is not required.


This is where you set up the person to assign

    – Roles

    – Departments

    – Models 


If a person is not selected to the correct role or model they will not see or be able to perform the service or inspection on the mobile application.


Process completed to register a new user.


Edit People Details


Edit an existing person by clicking on the three blue dots to present the details screen



Import bulk people list


Import a list of people can be applied using the attached template behind.


Ensure that the upload file is saved as a csv UTF-8 Encoded format.
