On or Off the Network

All of our mobile applications have the capability of continuing the service or inspections while off the network (Internet).

There are 2 functions that can be utilised.

    1. Execution of the service/inspection while on the network

    2. Execution of the service/inspection while off the network

In both cases, the logging into the application must have a network connection. Once the log process has been completed, the service/inspection work order is viewable on the screen.

"In Progress" Status

When a work order is selected, there will be a couple of screens to confirm and then the sync process will begin. To complete a successful sync the devise still needs to be connected to the network.

Execution of the service/inspection can be initiated once the sync has been completed. This is defined as the "In Progress" status.

At this point, the data has been transferred to the devise and is not reliant on the network connection. If, not connected, the data being collected is stored on the devise/application until network connection is returned. This does not imped the person from continuing with the tasks presented or perform the functions available.

If connected to the network, the devise will transmit data (in near real time) to the server and is viewable on the web application.

If the network connection is not met and the person tries to sign off on the service and screen pop up will notify the person that the sync cannot be performed and that they need to connect to a network WIFI to enable the process to be completed.

"Checked Out" Status

A checked out service/inspection is an option for the person to apply if they know they are going to an off the network location and they wish to perform one or more services/inspections while off the network.

Click on the Check Out Service button and select which work order/s you have been assigned to complete.

Once the selection has been completed, click on the Check Out Now button. This will sync the data specific to the selection to the device. The service can be started/stopped/completed at anytime without network connection.

When the person has reconnected network connection, they will need to check the service/inspection in.

The data will transmit to the server securely and the status of the service/inspection will return as "Completed" or Stopped" status pending it's point in the service/inspection process.

If the network connection is not met and the person tries to sign off on the service and screen pop up will notify the person that the sync cannot be performed and that they need to connect to a network WIFI to enable the process to be completed.
