Purpose:
To enable the application align with the site based terminology and to share what has been set up from the client level of the application.

Process:
1. Hover over Settings
From the menu list click on settings – site application settings.
If you cannot see settings, you do not have access rights under the position you’re assigned to in the user policy group.
2. View Details
Site application details outlines critical elements of the application specific to the site.
The user confirmation statement word can be added/edited from here.
Click on the enable box for it to appear when the user logs into the iPad application.
Key contacts are specific to the application can be added or removed.
Risk matrix is an image upload option to present to the iPad user the risk rating process for defects.
3. Tabs
Clicking on the top tabs presents a dropdown list of menu options
Click on these to edit or add new elements to the application specific to the sites needs
4. Policy Group
Policy group is an import feature that needs some consideration when setting up the application to the site.
This defines what positions within the company can perform or see certain functions and features within the application.
To add or edit a policy group can be achieved by clicking on the add new button top right of screen.
5. Custom Captions
Custom captions is a feature that enables you to define specific fields a site term that everyone relates too.
This is to align the application to the site based terminology or even language.
Both the singular and plural fields need to be completed.
The standard caption is the initial standard default setting the application is released at.
EMI may choose to change this standard caption at times but it will not affect your settings.
6. Default Settings
There are some screens that require a default setting to be defined
– Model Status
– Task – Operating Modes
– Defects – Statuses
– Defects – Risk Rating
– Feedback – Classifications
– Feedback – Priorities
– Feedback - Statuses
Note: Headings might be different for your site or applications. Eg Branch might be location. Department might be Accountable Area. This is determined in Application Settings/Custom Captions. Assets as Unit Numbers.
7. System Codes
Within the system definition edit function we have added the non compulsory option to assign a code to a system. This is intended for integration purposes to a third party CMMS application where a code is preferred.
8. Set Week start Day
This feature is to improve the presentation of the reports based on the timeframe setting. Some sites have different reporting periods or when the plan is released or when new shifts start.
You can now set the reporting period based on the site specific start of the week setting. This way all the timeframes would be based on this site known start of the reporting week day.
